The studio isn't doing VNs, they're hiring actual game programmers. They probably won't release anything for a year and a half at least.
Remake will be next year, developed by TM itself over the last few years.

According to VNDB, Meteo and Morisaki Ryouto were the assistant writers. They pretty much took care of a lot of the lighter tone SoL scenes.
Also, Aramoto Kei wrote the h-scenes instead of Nasu, which is why they're not shit this time. Both FHA and KT have the strange ocurrence of way better h-scenes than the original games.
