The wiki has basically all the text in the game transcribed (including the ship descriptions on their individual pages) so you can look everything up there and rikaichan it (it's a flash game so obviously you can't use any translation tools on it directly). For some of the ships there's even been people recording all their spoken lines too.

Speaking of that, you know you've been playing KanColle too much you have your ships' quotes stuck in your head instead of music. All fucking day yesterday I was hearing "Inazuma no honki wo miru no desu"; there's just something about the rhythm at which she says it.
