There are basically 2 versions of the core 10k deck that can be found online. One of them is the yellow bullshit that I just posted. The bottom of the cards are filled with a bunch of bullshit that's never gonna help you with anything, the pictures are either low res or don't make any sense, and it's just gross to look at.

The version you're talking about is less ugly but still pretty bare bones. Also the audio is super fucked when you get into the latter half of it, I think the guy just ran everything through TTS. When we are talking about core 10k, we are talking about the extra 4k cards not included in 6k. And those last 4k cards are the real shitty ones.

So apparently I've been using the wrong core2k anki deck since I searched on their site instead of downloading directly from the guide. I'm at about 200 words mature on this one. Would it be wise to switch over to the correct one now? I just did one session of the correct deck and already I think I prefer it since the kanji aren't underlined and the deck I've been using sometimes blocks out the kanji so you have to remember them by definition instead of recognizing them instantly. Plus, the proper deck lets you replay kanji alone while the wrong deck makes you listen to the whole sentence.

Mainly asking if it'll fuck up my study progress if I start the new deck and breeze through the first hundred or so until I hit new ones. I can handle a few days of double workload, I think to make sure I don't lose anything by taking it easy for a bit.
