The Soy Sauce war is not proof of the game being anti-jap, or anti-nationalism, it simply shows how vulnerable the japs in that era were, and even that Rose survived and still believed that the future countrymen can still be saved.

Actually Season 3 is about Rose fighting off the Soy Sauce War, getting an independent distribution so another Soy Sauce War cannot happen again, and passing her will into the future countrymen, where lives and economics are better and they can fight again.
