I fucking love that story. I expected it to be some silly, incomplete, beta version of Higurashi. But it really surprised me.

I can only describe it as a miniature version of Higurashi. It somehow manages to contain elements from all 8 arcs.

Ryukishi wrote it as a screenplay when he was in college, and then changed a bunch of shit to make it into the Higurashi sound novel we know.
