I will act as if I avoid this

I'm stuck at this part "まるで私を　避けているような" how should I interpret this? These are the things I understand:
まるで私を　= adjective + noun + object particle
避けているような = Te form + iru continuous action + you appearance or manner + na ending
What is the "you" supposed to mean here? How do I interpret "marude"?
I think she's saying that she will avoid touching this subject until school finish and they return home.
