I'm not sure if it's proper to start up a NEET thread while there's still one running but this is one I've thought of posting for a while.

Why don't we have a discussion about possible future plans for ambitious NEETS who hope to someday support themselves?

I'm currently unemployed for several years, some college credit and am planning on finishing. I was hoping to get some input on possible majors/jobs that one can do ALONE. Preferably working for yourself and making your own hours. The best I can think of is bookkeeping/accounting, but it bores the shit out of me. I love science and math but it seems most of that kind of work is pretty establishment (good background, solid education/work history ..etc)

I feel like I'd have to be self employed because of my spotty work history, crippling social anxiety, as well as some actual health problems. Sorry for such a long post, anybody else currently thinking the same way?

Also, if I can't manage to support myself before my parents die I'm probably going to have to kill myself even though I REALLY don't want to, I'm way to skinny and nerdy and effeminate to survive on the street or in prison.

Wow, I'm impressed, OP. I bet no one here has that figure. You must be the only one in the world who has it. Why do you win so hard at life?
