Hey /jp/, I'm trying to think of characters for a story for some future project. But all the characters I can think of that would be interesting are girls. I don't know what a nice male character would be like, the only ones I can think of that I like would be little boys who are pretty much like girls. For any guys I don't know what personality they should have that makes them likeable. Traits you see on girl characters make them annoying, and with no special traits they just seem dull.

tl;dr How do I design interesting and lovable male characters?
