What would you do to fix Umineko? It's possible there'll be a Rei still that may change a lot of it if he fears bad sales/response to EP8 may affect his career.

I would:

Get rid of Shkannontrice. I would have either Kanon as Beatrice or someone else entirely. Instead of Shannon and Kanon being used as literal symbols for Yasu's internal struggle, use them as external ones, a bit like Catherine/Katherine(bad example but best that comes to mind).

I came up with a theory a while back with a friend that the real reason the fate of the three was tied together was because only one of them could solve the epitaph and ultimately escape to Kuwadorian with their partner - therefore only one could survive, they only had one "Life" between them.

I wouldn't do the Amnesia thing, either. I would have the same red text about the family not surviving, but have Ange flip the chessboard and ask what gameboard that applies to. I'm not sure if I'd have everyone survive or not. Having everyone survive seems a bit too sweet though it worked for Ever 17, but everyone dying seems even more predictable and depressing given that's what we're told from the start. I'd maybe have the kids(Battler, George, Jessica, Maria, Beato/Yasu) survive, but they all disguised themselves and lived different lives as to not take the blame for the disaster.
