Fact #2: Spiders Aren’t Far Away
Interestingly (or creepily) enough, studies show that you’re never more than 10 feet away from a spider. They are literally everywhere! But no worries, they’re likely hiding in a corner somewhere minding their own business.

You won't believe it, but tarantulas are docile animals and very rarely bite humans.
On the other hand, their venom is not toxic, and their bites don't cause severe injuries.

Did you know that female spiders can lay up to 3,000 eggs at one time?
These eggs are housed in one or more silk sacs. The level of care a female spider provides for her young varies by species.
Some females will die shortly after laying eggs while others will carry spiderlings on their backs or share prey with them.

Do you know many spiders are there in the average house?
There don't seem to be any reliable statistics on the number of spiders in the average home, but there are plenty of spiders that will certainly enjoy living in your abode.
These include the daddy-long-legs spider Pholcus phalangioides, which makes scruffy webs in the corners of rooms and cupboards, and the mouse spider Scotophaeus blackwalli, a sturdier, velvety species that prowls walls at night.

Did you know that arachnophobia can be treated and overcome (at least in part) with various treatment?
. A group of scientists from the University of Sao Paulo managed to reduce the fear of spiders in a group of patients after a therapy with images. The images shown tried to bring the arachnid world closer to the patients but without showing spiders.
This was achieved by showing images of objects with arachnid characteristics, for example: tripods, a carousel, etc.
Among other things, experts point out that with this in mind, having dreadlocks can be a good option.

But the label 'house spider' is usually reserved for members of the genus Tegenaria, which lurk unseen in tube-webs until the autumn, when the leggy males scuttle around our abodes in search of the bulkier, more sedentary females.

Did you know that some male spiders just want to be eaten?
Black widows are known for cannibalizing their mates, but this doesn’t actually happen all the time.
The exception seems to be the red widow, where the male force feeds himself to the female by placing himself into her mandibles.
If she ‘spits him out,’ so to speak, he will keep placing himself there until she eventually eats him.

COOL SPIDER FACT

>One species is mostly vegetarian

>It was thought that all spiders were carnivorous, capturing and eating other insects, but one species in Central America has been found to be mostly herbivorous! Bagheera kiplingi inhabit trees that produce protein-rich buds on their leaves. These buds are part of a symbiotic relationship between the trees and ants, but B. kiplingi also benefit from consuming the buds. However, during dry seasons these spiders are known to be carnivorous. They may cannibalize each other or steal ant larvae when food is scarce.

even though australia is almost as large as the united states, only 5% of its land is occupied. the entire city of tokyo has a bigger population density than the entire continent on australia. 90% of its entire population resides in their cities. therefore, we can assume haato was in one of five cities along the eastern coastline of australia.

Did you know that spiders are nearsighted?

Most spiders have eight eyes, but some, such as the brown recluse spider, have only six. Spiders usually have a primary set that can create images, while secondary sets can only detect light and shadows. Secondary eyes are thought to be derived from the compound eyes of a common ancestor of spiders and insects.

But even with all those eyes, spiders cannot see far distances. Myopia is a problem for people, but the habits of spiders are such that myopia is not a deficiency. They wait for prey to become trapped in their webs and use silken wires to warn of approaching predators.
