manga - usually theres smaller incidents or typical slice of life, and depending on whos interacting with who you can see multiple sides of a character

fan anime and doujins dont count as official (duh) so fans can write them however they please.
i wouldnt count any of their personality traits in fanworks as their real personality, just someone else writing them who has a different perception of them
