Is translating song lyrics to 135 kanas a day enough of an exercise to get both hira and kata in my head in a week? Or would you suggest something more involved? This is my first night.

Can anyone explain to me the appeal of this stuff? As a westerner I've gotten used to the idea of Youtubers being fake, and as a functioning human I've gotten used to the idea of anime being fake. So anime youtubers... it just feels like double fake. I can't watch a single video without feeling fooled and used
