Do you prefer literal translations or when certain names are just left in Japanese but written with the English alphabet?
An example of this is in Mushoku Tensei where Rudeus nick name 泥沼 (Doronuma) is translated as "Quagmire" personally I think Doronuma is way cooler sounding but I also know Japanese (to an extent) so I understand how some one who doesn't may not get it.
I think the same can be said for attack names in general or swords.
In bleach do you leave Zanpakuto and related abilities as they would be in furigana or translate them literally?
