Indeed. I purposed the 'pick two' as a way to preempt a non-ending discussion (and deadline limbo) like what happened with the title. This isn't to say we can't discuss the songs.

> You mean "I" no ?
I do mean 'we'. I am not the person who organized the last album, and I don't anticipate being the one who organizes the next. Which is why we want to establish was the /jp/ music project functions to the community. In the last project we were fairly adamant about the 'open to all (reasonable) submissions' point, which is why I was reiterating it here.

I went through and listened to the submissions as part of the cursory quality control (additional checks are welcome).

I do like the beat and feel of this song, but at 0:52 and 0:56, the background voice appears to have changed to 'penis' instead of 'Hiya!' (or perhaps a shortened 'peni'). If this is the case, the author should re-upload a modified version of the song so we avoid the appearance of trolling and keep to the SFW theme of the blue boards.

This is not to say that we can't have a NSFW album release, just that it should not be the general project.

Beyond that I like the order proposed.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and see. The downside is that, since I wrote the words, I can understand almost all of what she says. Unfortunately, when I ran it by some friends, they couldn't understand any of it...

Pretty much what >>10919067 said. Especially about everything sucking at first.

Additionally, I use Vocaloids. There is apparently a VST plug-in for them, but also function as a stand-alone application. So, basically, I write a song first, make a vocal melody for it, and combine everything in the DAW (V3 has a mixer but my DAW's is better).

My DAW come with a bunch of snyths (and I assume most popular ones do) and you can use a MIDI controller or your computer's keyboard (depending on the DAW) to record stuff using those synths. Most will also have ways for importing/recording/editing audio clips, so you can record music live if you're so inclined.
