Maple and Black Baccara are the resident shill characters on Nutaku due to their popularity among the mindless drones that inhabit the Nutaku servers.

I'm not exactly sure why they only bothered to put two of the four starters on the banner, and even less why they decided to crib a Pixiv illustration for shits and giggles, but I'm not surprised at all. You don't even get one of the 4* units for joining Nutaku anymore, so I guess they figured Burnet and Silver Orchid were enough.

(Incidentally, you're given a guaranteed Evening Primrose for joining Nutaku instead of the usual random selection of Burnet/Silver Orchid/Saintpaulia/Field Mustard. You also don't get the free random 5* that comes immediately afterwards, and as you can expect this absolutely wrecks the coherence of the early story. Not that it would've been coherent anyways, due to Nutaku's shit-tier translations.)
