>this is the end of Ryougi Shiki's story
>I've accepted my past self, and my current self

Same anon, it makes me so happy and sad. KnK is the best love story.

I didn't say it was that bad, Extra is pretty neat on its own (I'd give it a 6/10) while Extella is actual FGO-tier garbage.
And yeah, Kara no Kyoukai seems like what you want in terms of great visuals+music, and the serious tone that Fate/Zero had. It's one of Nasu's best works.

Do consider learning Japanese if you're invested enough in VNs and stuff, I'm doing it myself and really looking forward to Extra CCC and Mahoyo.

Not sure if this is taken from /a/, but good post either way. I agree and it sums up a lot of my complaints about GO, and people who excuse its story as "surprisingly good", especially in comparison to Nasu's older works.
I don't think there's a ghost writer, it's just that most of GO is written by other people, so Nasu's parts have to be molded to fit with their style (he even writes specific characters in their chapters), and to fit GO's general setting/atmosphere (which is not at all what he's good at writing, or what made him famous in the first place).
