Honestly, I enjoyed UBW the most, followed by HF and last Fate. UBW had Lancer being awesome, had more of the supporting characters like Issei and Ayako in it, and then there was Archer. Also, Rin is my favorite of the three heroines so . . .

And, Rin was the one heroine that wasn't guaranteed. Unlike Sakura who loved Shirou unconditionally, Rin had other options. She had chemistry with Archer, Lancer and Saber. Also, in a lot of ways UBW was a sort of a love triangle. Just two sides happened to be different versions of the same guy.

Also, I like sympathetic antagonists and Archer ended up being one Big Damned Hero in the end.

(And fuck Sakura's back story, Archer, imho is a lot more tragic than her.)

HF ranks more than Fate because of Kotomine and Ilya. Damn, Kotomine is awesome.

The mantle and tail are made out of burial cloth. Like what they wrap Archer's arm with when they attach it to Shirou and what Caren uses to bondage people. It offers protection from spiritual influence and stuff.
