I had a Bell of Termination before that could tank most of the damage from Siva, so they could potentially be pretty good still if you give them enough equipment to raise their life. I kind of came to the conclusion that using massively overpowered pets isn't fun, but I still want some for mounts.

I'm not really sure when that happened, but I don't think it was the latest couple of versions. More importantly, all of the deities and their inner versions have changed so they get the armor bit. That means even the major attacks that they can use get reduced by at least 1/3.

Speed does have potential, but I don't think the blessed potions work on it anyway. Speed Upper is supposed to raise speed potential, but I never really checked. It goes up so slow with normal methods that AP is really the fastest way to get it even if that can be really slow in some situations.

Speaking of Lityou, has anyone seen him use Smash Jaws as an invoke? I seem to remember SOMETHING using that as an NPC, but I didn't think anything of it at the time so I can't remember who it was or what circumstances it was under. There are several special actions that can't be used by PCs that still have unknown attributes because no one knows what uses them.

It's also very useful for getting living stuff, although you can't craft much of a variety of weapons.
