Nope, I didn't know that the engine was modified each game, which is actually great, because it shows that you don't have to destroy the feel even if you change the engine, unlike they did in the MoF gameplay change.
Again I really want to remind that this is purely subjective and I'm not saying

I'm juss sayin I liked the older (early Windows era) more so due to the overall feel, and I think that feel(still undefined) was fiddled with in the major engine change.
