Sakuya and Remilia never tell Meiling she's bad at her job in the fighting games. At most they tell her not to slack off, or ask why she's wherever they happen to fighting, and even that's only in VS win quotes. Hell, Remi and Meiling just chatter about a manga Meiling borrowed.

As for the bit with Marisa, well Meiling just can't keep her out, simple as that. She does a good job at keeping everyone else out, however.

Well see there's the thing. There's practically no material at ALL when it comes to actual character interaction between Meiling and the other SDM residents. Hell I'm pretty certain the only stuff between her and Remilia are the fighting game quotes. I'll gladly admit that "caring deeply for her" shit is just fanwank though (that they really need to get off of her wiki article as well). As for the respect, its hard to say, because the only times we ever see them interact is when Meiling is being scolded for something or other. At the very least they don't outright mock and belittle her like most people assume they do.
