EUREKA

It was all so simple. I don't know if anybody even cares, but I finally got the DMM Player Plus to install. I tried my VPN, changing language, all that shit, and it wasn't even necessary. In case anybody does care:

Just go to your control panel, under "Region, Language etc." click "Change Location", then set your home location to Japan. That's ALL you need to make the link on DMM work, which is here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/apps/dmm%E5%8B%95%E7%94%BB%E3%83%97%E3%83%AC%E3%82%A4%E3%83%A4%E3%83%BC/9nblggh1ns9l
