This so much. I also like how even when expressing the same emotion the characters are still portrayed differently, like Mion controlling herself when angry and just looking stern while Rena doesn't bother with that since she's so honest about it. The updated artwork never manages to capture the true spirit of the original sprites and most of the time they don't even bother. Like, look at this. they used Rena's uniform pose for her casual one and her dress isn't evenn flowing in the wind. DISGUSTING.
