Seriously though. I'm not sure I buy Karen being legit gay. Particularly with Sumire.

Sumire is 5 years older than Karen and 3 years her senior in AKB. Taking into account that Karen joined when she was just 12 (almost 13) and the circumstances surrounding her joining, coupled with the fact that she and Sumire worked together on AKB0048 and were both placed in Team A during the 2012 shuffle, it's perhaps more reasonable to assume that their relationship is more like a sisterly one than a romantic one.
