I have a feeling that we think in similar ways. Not a big diesel/steampunk fan myself, as I feel the focus on environment rather than story.

As for the Storm, I figure I would come up with a cover name for Katrina, but I guess it is a bit stupid. Alternate history is pretty fun to write, granted you put some actual directed effort into it.
