I was expecting a kind of fisher-price toy of a player but it is quite competent: it has auto-reverse and a USB connector that is detected as a USB estándar audio source by the computer so you can save tapes on whatever software you have.

Tape audio quality is more acceptable than I thought although of course nowhere near a CD. Has a good stereo separation with the typical background noise and a slight pitch inconsistency. Some people like it, other doesn’t.

Song selection is very good, with late 80, early 90s vibes for the most part. Listening Hajimete no Oto on Tape is certainly weird, in a good manner.
