We are all going to die! This is the truth and it is very difficult to face up to. You don't really fear it until something tells you it might be coming sooner than you had planned. Without fear of death is the only way to live in full peace. It would be my ultimate freedom and yet it would be sad not to miss life.

It would make sense that none of us want to die terribly soon. If you want to live a long time it's wise to look after your body. Shit like cancer doesn't usually appear overnight and it's much more difficult to deal with when your body is old. Nutritional decisions should be taken with the long run in mind is all i'm saying.

Maybe my situation is a bit depressing to you, but I point out i'm an unlucky individual in a large population. I'm pretty fucking special. Only people who get struck by lightning are more one in million than me.

The Japanese rice always says wash well. I never wash Basmati and it's pretty fluffy. I guess washing removes just the starch, which is good for texture and health?
