Although Junichi spent his summers vacaing in Kyushu, which is where Kurea comes from, so if his family was staying with family which went on to be her family then maybe they do share genes. Although she apparently likes Minky Momo, meaning that she has good taste, so at least if she is related to Junichi she doesn't seem to have gotten the defective genes he did.
