That one's subjective, of course, since I don't claim my opinion to be the absolute standard, but Meakashi revealed a few dark secrets about these usually cheerful characters.

Despite always acting all fun and games, and most of all, supportive of Shion's cat and mouse game with the main family, as soon as her secret got out Mion switched sides.
She revealed her true, cold nature as the successor of the Sonozaki family to Shion in the most cruel way possible: by actively torturing her little sister for "breaking family rules" despite claiming to understand her position prior to that.
It was a betrayal of the worst sort, and I still can't find myself forgiving Mion for that after all these years.

Being a little psycho. That part might have been cleared up later with Rika's point of view, but in Meakashi she seemed to be a crazy kid who attacked Shion out of the blue with a syringe.
You can't help yourself but feel uneasy at her sudden change in demeanor and subsequent suicide.
>Satoko
Satoko might act high and mighty all the time, but in truth she is nothing but a clingy crybaby. She actively made her brother's life miserable with no regards to his situation and therefore was responsible for his mental deterioration and disappearance.
Despite that, she still had the gall to call Keiichi unindependant in Tatarigoroshi which seems like a bad joke in retrospect.
