I think they're really cool, but their physical impracticalities make them a rarity even in hobby spaces. The cost, the space, and even the weight of them can be a problem for a lot of people to overcome. Anyone who can, though, more power to them. They can be lovely and charming as any other doll.

At least a few hundred dollars, but sky's the limit. (Note, this si not a sex doll, it is an extremely rare, extremely old Paper Moon Chii someone got secondhand.) I believe Volks also released an actual licensed Chii many years ago that I've seen come up for sale once. For customs, ShiNeS Workshop does good work on character dolls.

Doesn't Obitsu make one that's like 4ft tall? Obitsu 150cm or something like that. It's not very... aesthetically pleasing, though. Pic unrelated, this another human-sized doll that was made a long time go that someone owns, shown with a regular DD and an Azone Pure Neemo for scale.
