Silicone head dolls usually look just as good as their promo pics. Thedollforum has some resources of customer-taken pics of afdoll's silicone heads.

One thing that can be a deal breaker tho, implanted hairs are fragile and quick to fall off, so you have to extra careful so your doll head doesn't end up balding.

You could always just tack on a wig if it gets that bad, but it's not gonna be the same unless the wig is made from real human hair as well(those are very expensive)
