A few priceless, mostly SFW clips of vintage JAV idols. The production style was very different from today.

In the early days, most commercial JAV studios were subsets of general entertainment companies, and their staff were mostly people with a television background.

Biderin's restriction included that sex scenes be no longer than 3 minutes at a time, and you had to fill out a form explaining why and how people are having sex. Mosaic censorship was heavy, sex was mostly simulated softcore, and the average title's length was 30 minutes. On the other hand, the level of beautiful photography and artistic expression, including genuine drama-like plots, was high.

All of KMP's early starlets went on to have a mainstream media career. Satomi Kawai's debut movie topped the Oricon video sale charts, and AV idols were treated as genuine celebrities and featured on regular TV.
