OP here. Not a fan of windows, but unfortunately we are still at the point where it is necessary for gaming and a few other things.

Linux isn't hard when trying to do normal things, and I enjoy being able to configure things easily. Using linux doesn't hold your hand through everything, but extensive documentation makes most chores pretty simple.

I do have a windows PC, but I wanted to be able to play at least Touhou on the linux box when someone else is using Windows.
