TPE can be easily cut with a hotwire, but you would get lots of toxic fumes.

for both, just a good sharp thin blade really. not going to be able to go through in one go, just got to slice down a bit at a time.

make sure you get eyes that match the mfg, unfortunatly there isnt a standard so a lot of them use different sizes and styles(half vs full, spring loaded, different depths, ect)
