>Maybe she was too bitter about her childhood, or maybe she lacked objectivity, but you're basically asking her to have meta knowledge here and notice things from an exterior point of view.
It's not just her childhood, Kinzo told her to fuck off when she was in highschool and she was rather rebellious and had ambition. My philosophy is high individualistic and I cannot bring myself to accept that Eva would've thrown away her individualism for her family. She honestly should have thrown away her family name. It doesn't require meta knowledge, just the dedication to become your own person. Instead, she decided to accept her own predestined fate. Why? Why decide to not have a future when you're a teenager in highschool?

There's that proverb about being able to see the straw in someone else's eye but being unable to see the massive plank in yours or something.
Yes, people cannot see their own hypocrisy. It is the central Jungian view and one that I strongly like.

>I don't think the Ushiromiya are really stupid (unlike Shkannon, but inbreds aren't exactly smart), but they all had big flaws and ultimately
It's not that they were smart but they didn't entirely inherit Kinzo's gift.
Rudolf got Kinzo's sexual drive. It can also be argued that Krauss lacked this and is the reason why it took so long to have a child, it was not Natsuhi's fault but his.
Krauss predicts correctly future business growth but always miscalculates or acts too early.
Eva had Kinzo's intelligence but not his ambition, which is why she submitted and accepted her demise.
Rosa had Kinzo's skill and passion but lacked luck. As Ange explained in ep 4, some businesses just don't get lucky and become big.

>Yes they are.
I don't mean Ushiromiya family but nearly all of humanity are idiots, with a few exceptional throughout history.

Everyone misunderstands Kyrie. The most fanart you'll see of her is when she's a psychopath or holding Rudolf by a chain and collar. When the truth is the exact opposite. She's a goddamn woman who is more emotional than most of the woman in the story. She just doesn't immediately show it.
Her only way to compete against all the other women trying to get Rudolf's attention was to be resourceful intellectually and help financially all while also sleeping with him like every other whore he had. But Azumu was also clever, as she only pretended to be retarded (by being moe and feminine) which made Rudolf care for her more.
For all her smarts, she couldn't be smarter in the one thing that mattered to her.
Kyrie is just a woman who thinks with her emotions and happens to be clever. A person who can only open her legs and keep the books in check. Except maybe Rose, because we don't know much about her relationship, almost none of the women fell in love at first sight. Eva found Hideyoshi because she wanted someone she could manipulate and bear a son but ended up loving him. Natsuhi was forced into marriage and only later fell in love with Krauss. Jessica only started to love Kanon out of necessity and Shannon is basically the same out of grief, despite neither having any chemistry.

Only Kyrie jumped headfirst into love like a delusional madwoman to a guy surrounded by pussy. Kyrie threw away everything she had just to be with Rudolf. People think that the reason she would have shown Battler around to get in the family was for some convoluted plan to become rich or head of the family or whatever. When she just wanted to be with Rudolf.

This is why I find the whole psychopath Kyrie part to be the most laughable thing ever. Only an idiot wouldn't see that Kyrie is an idiot.
The person who waited years to finally be with Rudolf, saying that she never loved Rudolf? What a joke. Without love, it cannot be seen that Kyrie is a fucking idiot.

Also, it's sexual as fuck to have a smart woman become all emotional and meager. Someone who can out think you but can't out think the dick.

Please. She was paranoid about her boyfriend and only found no evidence that he was cheating on her. Rather than accept that you cannot prove a negative, she became paranoid to the point of annoying endlessly her boyfriend. She's just an idiot lacking rationality.

No, despite what ep 7 and ep 8 say, Kyrie is a very nice girl. Rudolf was being paranoid and being the one who came up with the idea for blackmail doesn't make her able to commit mass murder. It's poor logic. If you want a direct confirmation of Kyrie's tears, look at ep 4. In her final moments, Kyrie told Battler that she was his mother. Battler didn't understand, and Kyrie tried to repeat it until he understood but then died. She died without having Battler understand the truth. She truly cared for Battler. Kyrie was always a good person and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The problem I have with people's opinion of Kyrie is that they see everything about her except for one thing. Her sex. She's a woman. People forget that, just like Mion in ep 2 before you figured out that Shion and Mion were two separate people. She's calculating, she's a murderer, she's a psychopath, she was raised by the Yakuza, etc. But the one thing people forget was that she was madly in love with Rudolf. People will claim that once Kyrie would have found out about her baby surviving, she would have used it as leverage. But I don't think she would have done it just to get money, but simply to get with Rudolf. She doesn't care about the family.

Kyrie is the type of silent woman who is cold and calculating, but under that fake shell, there is a woman who lets her emotion drive her more than her calculations. Basically, she's a woman who can't think rationally but happens to be smart. It's also the type of girl Ryukishi07 likes to make imo.

People don't see that side of Kyrie and it makes me sad. They only see the calculating psychopath killer and nothing else. It's really a shame. The later queen theory without a conclusion I guess.
Other than the 'diary' saying she's the killer and ep 7 everywhere else has shown that Kyrie is a nice woman.
