The problem with the Japanese tv I've tried to watch, and I know perfectly well I haven't seen enough to generalise this for all of it, is that it feels like im watching tv. I want something where they're not sitting in a massive studio with several hosts and celebs I don't care about with a crowd watching. I wanted to learn Japanese to become more autistic so I could get away from those sorts of things, not so I could get into them. Ideally if there are any small-budget tv shows or just something made by laymen like a simple podcast that would be fantastic. I think if I browsed Japanese twitter and pixiv more I could find more good media like this, but I would like to ask here as well.
