Nope, but here's a basic rundown.
The game stores shit in .bmps in this fodder for IJN side. Those numbers a not random, they correspond to specific ships. You can see the ship's art number as Bitmap value in the game editor that comes with the game. You simply chop game sprite(or use already chopped ones from sortie screens for example) to fit the same size as the game's original sprite, and that's all. Repeat till you're satisfied.
