Levels 30-60 kinda suck for dodging double line Ru's shelling. I agree CAs are better early on. No need for CLT (it stops being a bobsquad with a CLT!) but it can help.

Nothing, my friend. My wife was lv96 at HQ101. Now at HQ107 I have 35 lv91+ ships. I never really grinded anyone, except for Souryuu on 3-2-A in December, Ayanami on 5-1-D in February and ABKM on 5-1-D in July.

I always did 2-5 with CAs. At first I wasn't using drums on CAVs so compass sometimes directed me to south but I fell in love with the map doing it with CAs, none of which was Kai Ni. Here, my fleet after few days of constant 2-5.
