I'd argue using old weapons such as the AK-47 (not the 74) and the Thompson would be best to use against youkai. This is because these weapons have both the history and the popularity to hold "meaning", resulting in an effective way to deal spritual damage.

Of course, you need *FAITH* to hurt them, so having them blessed it obviously a no-brainer, like >>41831869 said. Also, you need to be pious to ensure God (who you'll be relying on)
actually protects you.
