I don't really see any point in reading these super popular series, might as well wait for the manga or anime adaptation instead, since these series are so popular, the manga or anime will catch up to the source material eventually anyway. From what I've seen, the manga is close enough to the LN and is much more enjoyable, bad adaptation do exist though but 9/10 are good enough(for example the series in pic, the art of the manga adaptation kinda sucks to be honest but it's still in good enough zone, barely).
I just get into this recently, reading less poular stuffs, jumping straight from latest manga chapter. But after I heard how LN usually get axed without warning and most series that got axed have no proper ending, if there's no clear way to know if the series I read are in risk of getting axed or not, I don't know if this is worth it anymore.
