But it's not the topic of the board.

And hypothetically, let's say there are boards out there for other topics... but while I enjoy those TOPICS, I don't enjoy those COMMUNITIES. Let's say that the same thread pops up in both boards, but in the one DESIGNED FOR ITS TOPIC, I find the replies less interesting and entertaining overall than the board not designed for it.

What exactly can I do? Or is there nothing I can do? Should I just suck it up and admit to myself that I'm just way too picky and that I should either suck it up and deal with the poor community of the other boards or stick strictly to topics that those of /jp/ deems "worthy of discussion" (roughly ~3% of all threads)?
