Here's what we gather from Satori in SA (an other canon works):

--Likes her pets
--Can read minds
--Secluded herself from people hating her because her power.
--Polite (invites Yukari/Reimu for tea)

Here's what anon infers from her being a sentient being:

--Needs to eat, and probably sleep.
--May yearn for relationships on the same level.
--May (or not) enjoy physical forms of pleasure and company.

My friend, Gensokyo is an unfinished world that the player can complete with the details of his liking.

And being a secondary is more about disregarding canon facts, than wondering about the undefined size of a pair of breasts or color of panties.
