Now that ive consumed both VN and anime, I cant honestly hate the ufotable anime adaptation. For what its worth, you can tell how much effort the staff put in trying to adapt the series accurately minus Shirou's inner dialogue (also a bit angry that Die Lorelei is gone but still). Fate is so fortunate to have a good VN adaptation.
