Someone primarily doing subs for one group does not innately mean they do not watch another group. Because, as it might shock you due to the recent ones being trash, most translators have never cared for those types of things and just sub who they already liked or have grown to like. Source; I've translated more than a handful of videos back in the day, and the only drama I've seen from the handful of translators I've either known or have worked with from even before this scene has been one-handed comments about wanting to do a video but someone else beating them to do it, sometimes with the implication of it being subpar because people don't like to cause a fight. Though I can at least assure the anons here that all of the translators I personally consider good or at least kind of worth their salt all dislike this new wave of people, even the ones who managed to grow from it, though a few retards who acknowledge it don't realize the garbage they've inevitably brought to streams because they've gotten a big head from it, since they managed to already have experience editing videos rather than just adding CC's which is the new thing.
But hey, that's none of my business.
