In your culture (my culture as well), sure. Just being naked in a locker room & public shower is seen as a big weird deal in itself.

It's totally normal in Japanese culture though, and most public baths aren't exactly the size of swimming pools either so for them to be in a high-end western hotel's bath isn't too big of a difference.

Not really no. She said so herself that she wants to be a singer/songwriter, not an idol, and Koba has been removing Babymetal out of the idol world practically entirely since 2012.

Plus, she sings live. So singing skill really is a priority.

I think she's a great singer, certainly the best in Sakura Gakuin, but she's still growing and so is Babymetal so she's probably not used to the constant performing so of course some performances will be better than others.

That performance was good though, her vocals were at least, the recording and actual mixing was totally off. The one song that she consistently has difficulty with is Megitsune I find.

Yup, they know their place and that Babymetal is promoting them and not the other way around, or at least it's a mutually-beneficial symbiotic thing. I'd say that it was more beneficial for Dragonforce than Babymetal though.

It's definitely more of a launching pad for sure, she's got the lungs and the vocal chords, I wouldn't be surprised if they develop her solo career between Babymetal tours & albums as well, not necessarily after Babymetal.

hat's part of the problem, people still see them as they were 5 years ago. They might not look like it, but Yui & Moa are the same age that Miyoshi Ayaka was when she graduate from Sakura Gakuin and even then Mori-Sensei was giving her advice on how to better appeal to men. I don't have the video on hand but it's somewhere on youtube.

They're turning 16, Su is turning 18 [legal age in most countries, Japan notwithstanding], they're no longer little girls at all, they're on the corner of turning into adults & teens.

That being said, I think it's equally creepy to look at them and be all "oh my kawaii angel! I want to melt in your rainbow of kawaiii sunlight and bathe myself in your kawaii honey and frolic upon a field of kawaii flowers" or whatever, as it is to be all "POST MORE BUTTS SU HAS A NICE BUTT WHERE ARE YUI'S BOOBS".
