You just gotta love how Twaps uttely refuses to play a game she brought up first just because she can't play with korean males on a public server.
She's boicoting it her hardest. She's all in for it: either I play with korean males or I don't play that shit; no in-betweens.

This is how you write Murasaki Shion's name in Japanese: 紫咲シオン
This character, 紫, means "purple/violet" and its kunyomi is むらさき, its onyomi is シ, and its nanori are さい and ゆかり.
For surnames, it can be read as あかね、しおり、たかうじ、むらさき、ゆか、and ゆかり.

This character, 咲, means "blossom" and its kunyomi is さく and -ざき, its onyomi is ショウ, and its nanori is さ and さき.
For surnames, it can be read as えみ、えむ、さい、さか、さき、さく、さくじ、さやか、しょう、and ももか.

So why is 紫咲 only read as Murasaki?
If it's reading is based on kunyomi, then why isn't it Murasakisaki or Murasakizaki? Why include 咲 at all?

How is it that both 紫 and 紫咲 are both read as Murasaki? I thought there weren't any silent characters in Japanese?
