what do you love Touhou characters for?
I don't quite get it maybe it's because I've only played the games so far, is it the fan content? The designs are great but you can hardly call those girls characters, characterization is minimal in the games and it does work for the game itself, I'm wondering however what makes so many touhou fans so invested in specific characters when they are pretty poorly fleshed out (some of the most popular characters appear like once or twice for a brief moment)

Does Touhou Project have the most amount of fanwork/derivative work for a series? Judging by the amount of fanart, doujin, music remixes, and even fangames, fanime and figures...

Do you think it's enough qualifications for holding a world record?
