After a year of not shaving I've finally grown out a beard like Opie's.

I like looking at myself in the mirror now. I feel like a wild animal.

I'll only save the Japanese girl if I can be strong and grow a beard first.

I want to be her hairy barbarian gaijin. She could walk me around like an intimidating attack dog and I would scare off all the Yakuza.

How do foreigners even get to the point that Japanese girls talk to them without being scared of you?

I visited Japan last year and I think I scared the shit out of everyone that passed me, especially the women. The few people that I did get a chance to befriend would constantly comment on my beard and ask me if I was a criminal in America.

I've been growing it out for years now and I've gotten it to about this length, but I really don't want to shave it just so Japanese people won't think I'm some kind of foreign delinquent the second they see me.
