It is pretty interesting how in my parent's generation(Gen X) and grandparent's generation(Boomers), they constantly bitched about the Japanese trying so hard to imitate Americans in terms of Products, Culture, Media etc.

Nowadays us Millenials and Zoomers are bitching about White weeaboos trying too hard to be Japanese. And the young kids doing too much Japanese stuff, or the young men watching Hentai and JAV.

What Changed? how did this all happen?
