If you are aiming to reach the boss, I think you definitely need a dedicated ASW for the trollsub since Zuihou usually can't chuuha the sub at hankousen. Choukai vs Kitakami is a wash. I find Kitakami initial torpedo totally useless against the dong. She can't beat the dong and I think choukai perform better in that regards.

This is the cookie cutter LD fleet though.
