It's very simple. I sleep when I am tired and I do things that I enjoy when I'm awake.

Insomnia is just a word for trying to force yourself to do an action that can only be accomplished involuntarily. You can't force yourself to sleep, it just happens. So if you aren't tired then you might as well get up and have fun.

Let's say that -- in theory -- I had a lot of money. Enough to rent a two-bedroom apartment (or better) without needing to live with others. Let's also say that you're a NEET that wants to move out of their parent's house.

Would you consider moving in with me? You'd get:

1. A friend (if wanted).
2. Free housing.
3. Free unlimited food/heat/water (but you can't eat it all!).
4. Free Internet.
5. Free electronics, if I can afford them at the time.
6. I'd make your meals and keep you happy.

In return:

1. You must help out by cleaning every now and then.
2. You must do your own laundry and remain hygienic. A stinky NEET = a NEET going back to live with their mother.

That's the other popular one.
The problem in that one is the excecution.

The battles are usually kept short because written lyrics usually become awkward and tl'dr quite quickly without accompanying a beat.
With six characters to account for, either it gets repetitive or the characters only get a few lines each.
